This April became a significant milestone for the city of Český Brod, its almost seven and a half thousand inhabitants, and especially for the children there and from the surrounding villages. In the close vicinity of the existing elementary school, the foundation stone of the Český Brod part of the new school was ceremonially laid. It will be built in two locations – in Český Brod on the premises of the Žitomířská Elementary School and in Doubravčice. This event launched the implementation of the largest project in the modern history of the city. Its aim is to strengthen the capacities of elementary education in the region and ensure a modern and high-quality environment for future generations of students.
After signing the contract with the company SYNER, which the Liberec Region selected in March of this year, after a positive opinion on obtaining a European subsidy and a change to the spatial plan of Liberec, nothing is preventing the construction of a classroom pavilion at the F. X. Šalda Gymnasium in Liberec.
You would have to be blind not to have seen the SYNER construction company’s logo in Prague in recent months. This company has long been conducting its business in the Czech capital, although it is still based in Liberec and, therefore, can be considered one of the largest employers, thanks to its hundreds of suppliers. SYNER in Prague is currently constructing or has completed projects worth just under CZK 4 billion. That is a remarkable figure.
